The 2nd SOUTH CAROLINA STRING BAND is a recreation (as authentically as possible) of a period camp band playing music of the Civil War. A listener will hear the popular music of the 19th century played on period instruments in the appropriate style. This is music as it truly sounded to the soldiers of the War Between the States.
